ADULTS
The single, the married, the young and mature – you will find them all at North Hills and they all find a place with us. Our Sunday School classes focus on relevant topics such as what to do about injustice, how to share your faith and creating an atmosphere for your relationships to flourish. We look at these topics through the lens of God’s Word – our ultimate guidebook for life.
Adults can find nourishment for their soul during North Hills other services also. Sunday night services provide discussion based, Biblical learning and often include book studies from recent releases. Wednesday evening gatherings focus on prayer and messages follow a teaching style. Whatever the format, North Hills strives to create a community where we do life together - developing a passion for Christ and a compassion for others.
In addition to the adult classes, we have a Brotherhood ministry group where all men are invited to join a community of other men in order to become stronger leaders in our church, family, and community. We have several activities for men from morning breakfasts and fellowship to outdoor events. We would love for you to become a part of our men’s ministry.
Our Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) is a ministry dedicated to preparing and cultivating a missionary lifestyle through active participation and involvement in national and global missions. Once a month the group meets to discuss specific opportunities to engage in missions and outreach. One of the ways that WMU enables members to participate in missions is through setting goals for various missionary offerings like Annie Armstrong, Janie Chapman, and Lottie Moon.
All adults at North Hills have the opportunity to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) through contributions to the Cooperative Program. Becoming a part of this organization, we are given the opportunity to participate in state, national, and global missions.
